Ecstatic Dance is a free form of dance with the goal of finding freedom in the body, mind, and spirit. Through letting go and moving with your body as it needs, one can achieve ecstasy, the natural state in which awareness shifts and you get to experience a meditative and happy state of mind. Not only is it fun to move your body to music, Ecstatic Dance is also scientifically proven to help your mental & physical health.

The good thing about Ecstatic Dance is that there are almost no rules! We throw out any rules of what dance is “supposed” to look like and just move our bodies as we feel. There only rules we keep are these:

No Alcohol, No Drugs. Please dance sober.
No judgement
No Talking
Respect your own body and respect others

Besides those, you’ll have no limitations during an Ecstatic Dance session! There is no choreography. You can take a break any time you need. We will dance with a soundscape that will crescendo and peak mid-way then decrescendo to a restful period at the end. Most importantly: there is nothing but love and acceptance around you. It is a safe space for you to truly express yourself how you want.
